Enjoy Coffee in the Morning or Evening

by Taylor Barkley

Don't you just love the smell of fresh percolated coffee on a cold winter's morning? Even in summer, there's nothing like a good cup of coffee to give you the kick start you need to go on your way to a lovely day.

Coffee is easy to make and can be done in a few different ways. All you need is a mug, some boiling water, a tin of coffee, milk and sugar. The sequence of how you mix them all together doesn't really matter as long as you stir them up real good and make sure the contents are settled.

One of the biggest appeals of choosing coffee as a warm drink is that it is also quick to make. With tea, for example, you always have to worry about letting it draw or where you can dispose of the teabags. With coffee, just add the contents, stir and enjoy.

Another great thing about coffee is that it can set the mood. Mornings are great with a hot cup of coffee to wake you up, but evening time is sometimes even better for the true coffee experience. If you go out to the movies or dinner, it's always great to pull up a chair at a coffee shop and order a nice warm mug with some dessert.

Coffee is also a versatile drink in that it can be combined with other drinks to make even more delicious beverages. Coffee mixed with hot chocolate gives you an awesome mocha flavor while a shot of liqueur turns an ordinary coffee into an enthralling espresso.

Another great tasting alternative that can be enjoyed from the coffee bean is iced coffee or an iced coffee milkshake. Whether you blend just ice and coffee or prefer to throw in some ice cream as well, you can enjoy a cold drink that will give you the same rich coffee taste. It's something to savour on warmer nights.

Another great reason to love coffee is that it goes so well with certain foods. We all know how great that ordinary peanut butter or jelly on toast tastes when it's eaten in conjunction with a good mug of coffee. The coffee adds to the taste of the food, making a tasty combination.

True coffee connoisseurs won't be satisfied until they get their fix of real filter coffee. This is not your ordinary coffee in a tin, but imported coffee beans roasted to perfection in a pot or kettle. The aroma is unmistakable and the taste even better. Brewed coffee is probably the best tasting drink you can make in your own home.
